In the quiet towns of Aalen and Rudersberg, two incidents have recently occurred, causing concern among locals and authorities.

In Rudersberg, a theft took place between July 24 and August 8, 2025. A pump worth around 250 euros, of the "Oasis" brand, was stolen from a garden pond in Hauffstraße. Meanwhile, in Kernen/Rommelshausen, a break-in occurred at a company building in Hegnacher Straße during the night from Thursday to Friday. Witnesses or anyone with information on suspicious persons or vehicles are urged to contact the Kernen police post at 07151 41798. The investigation into the break-in is being handled by the Police Headquarters Aalen. No items were stolen during the break-in, but approximately 100 euros worth of damage was caused.

In a separate incident in Aalen, an employee accidentally caused a fire on Friday morning at approximately 9:20 AM. Using a gas burner to remove weeds, the employee ignited a fire in a company building's lower area in Dieselstraße. Fortunately, no one was injured, and the Urbach fire department quickly responded with 4 vehicles and 28 firefighters to extinguish the fire. The estimated damage from the fire is approximately 5,000 euros, with parts of the facade's substructure and electrical cables involved.
