District official role in Rastatt assumes Sébastien Oser for the first time

Sébastien Oser, a seasoned administrator, is set to take over as the new head of the Rastatt District Administration Office in September 2025. Oser has a rich background in public service, having joined the Baden-Württemberg state administration in November 2011.

Oser's career in the Rastatt District Administration Office began in April 2017, when he moved from the Government Presidency of Freiburg. Initially, he headed the Office for Building Law, Climate and Nature Conservation, and Public Order. For nearly three years, he has been serving as the department head for Building, Environment, and Public Order.

Prior to his tenure in Rastatt, Oser worked at the Government Presidency of Freiburg, where he served as the German representative of the tri-national advisory body INFOBEST. In 2013, he took over the management of the Energy Competence Center in the Government Presidency of Freiburg.

Oser's educational background is impressive. He studied law in Freiburg and passed the second state examination in law in 2011. His dedication to his field is evident, as he joined the state administration just a few months after his examination.

In August 2025, Oser was appointed First State Official and Deputy District Administrator in the district of Rastatt. Moreover, he has been partially assigned to the Ministry of the Interior.
