Diversion of Buses along Patrick Street due to Street Blockade
In the local districts of Erbenheim, Igstadt, Breckenheim, and beyond, residents and commuters should be aware of some temporary changes to bus routes due to ongoing construction works. Here's a breakdown of the affected lines and their respective detours.
Line 37
In the direction towards Nordenstadt, Line 37 deviates from its regular route after serving the substitute stop "Venatorstraße" on Kloppenheimer Straße. The bus then continues via Igstadter Straße, before resuming its normal route. In the direction towards Erbenheim, Line 37 deviates after serving the same substitute stop, continuing via Igstadter Straße, Erbenheimer Straße, and then resumes its normal route. However, the direction towards Hauptbahnhof remains on the normal route.
Lines 23, 24, 37, and 49, as well as the Nightliner of line N11
Due to construction works in Poststraße starting from August 14th, these lines will be rerouted. Line 23's trips towards the city center are not affected by the detour, but its direction towards Breckenheim deviates from the normal route at the "Poststraße" stop, taking a detour via Limesstraße, Am Wolfsfeld, Oberlinstraße, Venatorstraße, Igstadter Straße, and resumes normal route.
For Line 24, its route in the direction of Breckenheim deviates from the normal route at the "Poststraße" stop, taking a detour via Limesstraße and Am Wolfsfeld, and ends at "Töpferstraße" stop. Line 49's direction towards Wolfsfeld deviates from the normal route at the "Poststraße" stop, taking a detour via Limesstraße, Am Wolfsfeld, and Leipziger Straße, before resuming its normal route. Line 49's direction towards Hauptbahnhof/Platz der Deutschen Einheit remains on the regular route.
Line 48
The "Rosenheimer Straße" stop of line 48 will be closed for both directions due to construction works.

The city of Wiesbaden is responsible for the diversion of bus lines 23, 24, 37, 49, and N11 on Patrickstraße due to construction and road closures in the Bierstadt district. Line 37's direction towards Venatorstraße follows the normal route until the "Poststraße" stop, then takes a detour via Limesstraße, Am Wolfsfeld, Oberlinstraße, Kloppenheimer Straße, Igstadter Straße, and Venatorstraße to the end stop "Venatorstraße".
