Dohmeyer reclaims autonomy following separation from Air Water company
After a six-year partnership with Air Water, cryogenic and refrigeration solutions firm Dohmeyer has separated and is now an independent company once again. This move marks a new chapter in Dohmeyer's growth journey, allowing the company to pursue its objectives without the influence of a larger corporate entity.
The separation was made possible through the acquisition of Air Water's shares in Dohmeyer. Director Fabian Van Damme, through his own company, is now the sole owner of Dohmeyer. This move was significant for Dohmeyer's future growth and independence.
Air Water had initially invested in Dohmeyer in 2019, taking a 49% stake in the company. In April 2023, Air Water made Dohmeyer a subsidiary by acquiring an additional 31% of shares. However, the shares previously held by Air Water were acquired by Peres Group, and the separation between Dohmeyer and Air Water was officially announced in January 2019.
Dohmeyer has expressed gratitude for the partnership with Air Water, stating that it provided stability and support during its growth journey. The partnership led to significant growth for Dohmeyer, with advancements in global footprint, cryogenic freezing, ultra-low temperature storage, and industrial refrigeration.
The expansion and innovations achieved during the partnership with Air Water are attributed to the stability and support it provided to Dohmeyer. Dohmeyer is currently expanding into new markets, such as North and Central America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. The company is focusing on developing new products and extending its service coverage in these regions.
Dohmeyer operates in sectors like food processing, biopharma, recycling, and advanced manufacturing. As an independent company, Dohmeyer is now free to make decisions that align with its core values and strategic objectives, without the constraints of a larger corporate entity.
The acquisition by Fabian Van Damme's company signifies a new chapter for Dohmeyer as an independent company. With its focus on growth and independence, Dohmeyer is poised to make significant strides in its respective industries. This separation is a testament to Dohmeyer's resilience and adaptability, and it is an exciting time for the company as it embarks on its next phase of growth.
