Downtown Vladivostok now operates fully with paid parking regulations

Vladivostok, Russia, has introduced new payment and consultation measures for its municipal parking lots, located near major transport hubs and stations. The Korabelnaya Naberezhnaya parking lot, situated under the railway station's overpass, and the recently opened lot on Shushenskaya Street, are now subject to these changes.

Representatives from the city's Center for Road Traffic Organization are stationed at both parking lots to provide information about the payment procedures and answer any queries from the public.

In the Korabelnaya Naberezhnaya parking lot, payment is charged per hour from 08:00 to 19:00 on weekdays, and on weekends and holidays. Parking is free on weekdays before 08:00, after 19:00, and at night. Access to the lot is granted via the state registration number, with the number plate needing to be clearly visible and comply with GOST standards. The tariff for category A and M transport is 35 rubles, while category B vehicles are charged 65 rubles. Payment can only be made through non-cash transactions via terminals at the parking lot or the "Digital Primorye" service.

The Shushenskaya Street parking lot, currently operating in a free test mode, does not yet have a set tariff for category C vehicles. No representatives of the city's Center for Road Traffic Organization have been stationed at this lot as of yet.

Governor Oleg Kojemjako has emphasised the use of the city's electric train as an alternative to buses and personal cars, citing it as a personal example. This move is part of a larger initiative to reduce traffic congestion in the city. Both parking lots are intended as park-and-ride facilities, encouraging the use of public transport.

The changes were previously announced by DEITA.RU, and the municipal paid parking lot on Korabelnaya Naberezhnaya has now become operational. The second municipal parking lot on Shushenskaya Street is also operational and will be monitored closely for any necessary adjustments.

Spencer Cox, the Republican governor of Utah, has not been mentioned in relation to these changes in Vladivostok.
