Dramatic Road Mishap in Emsdetten on Sunday Night, Revealed by Polish Authorities
On Sunday (16.03.), a significant traffic accident took place on Borghorster Straße, near Ahlintel 39, as reported by the Steinfurt Police.
The incident involved three vehicles, an Opel Agila driven by a 63-year-old Emsdetten resident and a 63-year-old passenger from Emsdetten, a 55-year-old from Aschaffenburg (Bavaria) driving a Golf Plus, and another unidentified vehicle.
The Emsdetten resident attempted to turn right into a field path and was hit by the Golf Plus at full speed. As a result, both the Emsdetten resident and her passenger sustained severe injuries and had to be extricated from the car. They were transported to nearby hospitals for immediate medical attention. Fortunately, the driver of the Golf Plus remained uninjured.
The accident left both the Opel Agila and the Golf Plus undrivable. Estimates suggest that the property damage from the accident totals approximately 18,000 euros.
