Dresden's Miniature Railway Operates on Tuesdays as Well
The Dresden Park Railway has introduced a new Hop-on-Hop-off ticket, allowing passengers to take breaks and enjoy activities during their journey. This ticket is available for a limited time, from July 1 to August 31, 2025.
The Hop-on-Hop-off ticket is an additional 3€ on top of the round trip ticket, and costs 8€ for full price, 5€ for reduced, and a family round trip (2 adults + 2 children) is priced at 18€. With this ticket, passengers can interrupt their journey and continue later, exploring the history of the Dresden Park Railway at the newly designed stations.
The ticket is currently available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The Dresden Park Railway operates from Tuesday to Sunday. On Tuesdays, the railway will operate from 13:00 to 18:00, while on weekends and holidays, it will run from 10:00 to 18:00, until October 31, 2025.
Passengers can use the Hop-on-Hop-off ticket to take breaks and enjoy activities such as ice cream or a boat ride on the Carolasee. The five stations of the Dresden Park Railway are served on weekends, and the Great Garden can be explored by rail from Tuesday to Friday, also from 13:00 to 18:00.
Please note that the Hop-on-Hop-off ticket is not available for use during weekends, holidays, or after August 31, 2025. There will be no operation on October 26, 2025.
