According to the police, the driver, identified as Klaus M, allegedly hit the tour bus with his car under the influence of alcohol. The police suspected the driver and ordered a blood test, which confirmed their suspicions.

The driver initially told the bus driver that he was going home and would return shortly. However, after an hour, he had not returned, so the bus driver called the police.

The charges against Klaus M include driving under the influence and violating a driving ban, as it was revealed that he had a driving ban at the time of the incident.

The supermarket parking lot where the accident occurred remains the location of the ongoing investigation. The police are also investigating the driver for a hit-and-run incident.
