Driver in Poland Loses Control During Passing Maneuver, Flips Vehicle
In an incident that occurred on Wednesday morning, a 20-year-old driver was involved in a car accident on state road 3008 near Schoeneck-Kilianstaedten.
The accident took place around 10:35 am, and the driver was driving a grey Dacia. According to the provided information, the driver was attempting to overtake a vehicle ahead when another vehicle coming towards her on the opposite lane caused her to swerve and lose control. As a result, the car overturned and came to rest off the road, near a railway track.
Fortunately, the occupants of the other two vehicles involved in the incident remained uninjured. However, the driver had to be extricated from her vehicle by firefighters and was taken to the hospital for further treatment.
The temporary closure of both the railway track and state road 3008 was necessary due to the car being towed away. Witnesses to the accident are asked to contact the Maintal police station at 06181 4302-0.
