Drug dealers apprehended in Pempelfort: Home search netted illicit substances, weapons, and money
In the heart of Cologne, Germany, a significant drug dealing investigation led to the arrest of two men on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at approximately 19:55. The operation, which took place at Worringer Platz, saw the seizure of various illicit substances and cash.
The first suspect, a 46-year-old Moroccan, was apprehended in an apartment on Wielandstraße. A search of the premises revealed a significant amount of cocaine, as well as pepper spray, knives, and a large sum of approximately 1,000 euros in cash.
Meanwhile, officers found one dealer attempting to flee from the scene. The second suspect, a 33-year-old Afghan, was promptly restrained. A search of this individual uncovered additional evidence, including heroin, crack, and another knife.
Both men were presented to a judge for remand following their arrests. The purpose of the operation was to disrupt the suspected drug dealing activities in the area.
