Multiple Traffic Accidents Reported in Districts of Verden and Osterholz

Two separate traffic accidents occurred within the Districts of Verden and Osterholz in Lower Saxony, Germany, over the past few days, according to the Police Inspectorate Verden/Osterholz.

In the first incident, an Audi driver collided with a truck driver on the A1 highway while changing lanes. The Audi driver, who was found to be under the influence of alcohol with a test showing a value of 3.1 promille, was required to provide a blood sample, and a criminal investigation was initiated against him. This accident took place in Piepenbrink street.

In a separate incident in the District of Osterholz, a 46-year-old E-scooter rider was stopped by police in Grasberg for being under the influence of alcohol, with a test showing a value of 3.1 promille. The E-scooter lacked insurance, and the rider now faces a criminal investigation. No information was provided about any injuries or damage from this incident.

In the District of Verden, another traffic accident occurred on Tuesday evening involving a 44-year-old driver of an Audi and a 44-year-old truck driver. No information was provided about any injuries or damage from this accident.

In a separate incident in the District of Verden, a traffic accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon between a 32-year-old driver of a Nissan and a 52-year-old driver of a transporter. A child in the Nissan was lightly injured in the collision, and initial information suggests no damage to the vehicles. The damage to property from this accident is estimated at approximately 2,200 euros.

In a third incident in the District of Osterholz, a traffic accident occurred in Schwanewede involving a VW car and a child on a bicycle. The driver wanted to turn left from the L149 into a driveway, but the cyclist was on the bike path in the same direction. The driver stopped when they saw the cyclist, but the cyclist could not avoid the car and tipped against it. The exact details about the injuries or damage from this accident are not yet available.
