Dual-booting tablet featuring Windows and Android operating systems set to be released by Viewsonic
The upcoming IFA event in Berlin, scheduled to start next week, will offer a unique opportunity for the public to learn more about the latest offerings from Viewsonic. The tech giant is set to unveil two tablets at the event - the ViewPad 7 and the ViewPad 10.
The ViewPad 7, a 7-inch tablet, will run on the Android operating system. It is expected to feature Wi-Fi, 3G, and Bluetooth for seamless connectivity. The tablet is also rumoured to have built-in cameras, USB ports, an integrated accelerometer, assisted GPS, and storage options via microSD cards.
On the other hand, the ViewPad 10, a 10-inch tablet, is expected to be a dual-boot device, running both Android and Windows operating systems. The specific version of Windows the 10-inch tablet will run is yet to be revealed. What is known, however, is that it will be built around an Intel chip.
Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer has expressed his belief that the tablet market should be dominated by Windows 7 OS. However, the tablet market primarily uses Google's Android OS, not Windows 7 OS. The IFA event will provide a platform to compare the Viewsonic tablets with other tablets on display.
The IFA event will also offer a chance to ask questions about the Viewsonic tablets and to see them in person. This will provide an opportunity to assess the design and build quality of the devices.
With the Viewsonic tablets set to be unveiled at the IFA event, the details about their specifications and operating systems will become clear. The IFA event, therefore, promises to be an exciting time for tech enthusiasts and consumers alike. Stay tuned for more updates!
