DuMont appoints Sandra Vollmer as its new Chief Financial Officer, with Verivox being her previous employer.
In a significant move, DuMont Media Group, a leading player in the digital media market, has announced changes in its leadership and new appointments.
Dr. Christoph Bauer, CEO of DuMont, has expressed his gratitude for the commitment shown by Stefan Hütwohl, who has been associated with the company for ten years, particularly in driving its growth in digital markets. After a three-month transition period, Hütwohl will step down from his CFO position at the end of the year.
Hütwohl will continue to be associated with the company in a prominent role, supporting the Group Management Board in strategic projects. He referred to this transition as a "new chapter in my career." Dr. Bauer also wished Hütwohl all the best for his private life and professional endeavors.
The exact projects Hütwohl will support are not yet disclosed. However, his expertise and long-standing relationship with the company are expected to contribute significantly to DuMont's strategic initiatives.
In a related development, DuMont has announced the appointment of Sandra Vollmer as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective from 1 October 2025. Vollmer brings a wealth of experience and expertise in the telecommunications, media, and internet industries.
Vollmer has served as CEO and CFO of the comparison portal Verivox since 2022. Before joining DuMont, she worked as Director Business Finance at the joint venture Unsere grüne Glasfaser of Allianz and Telefónica. She also has previous roles at C-level in finance and HR, including 1&1 Mail, Media Applications SE (Web.de and GMX), United Internet, and Unitymedia.
ProSiebenSat.1 sold Verivox to the Italian holding company Moltiply in the spring, marking a significant step in Vollmer's career. Her experience in diversification in the digital media economy is expected to bring fresh perspectives to DuMont.
Dr. Bauer is confident that Vollmer will make significant contributions at DuMont. He expressed his excitement about the new addition to the team, stating, "Sandra Vollmer's appointment is a testament to our commitment to attracting top talent to DuMont. I am confident that her expertise and leadership will further strengthen our position in the digital media market."
With these changes, DuMont continues to position itself as a dynamic player in the digital media landscape, leveraging the expertise of its leadership team to drive growth and innovation.
