Dusseldorf's Foolish Gala: Music, Mirth, and Dance
The KG Düsseldorf-Narrs recently held a grand gala session at the Barbarasaal on February 21st, and it was a night filled with music, dance, and speeches. Marcus Hülscher presided over the colorful event, ensuring that everything ran smoothly.
One of the highlights of the evening was the attendance of the trinity of the Naßrisch Schmetterlinge, consisting of Prince Michel, Virgin Kristaps, and Farmer Christoph. The board, dressed as bees for the Maja dance, opened the fool's visits of the session with children's prince and princess Henry and Laura.
Michel Caltagirone, a long-standing member of the KG Düsseldorf-Narrs, was celebrated for his 11-year membership during the gala session. Heinz Hulshoff, the rhythm sports group, and Hermes with the band performed at the gala session, with Hulshoff adapting the song "Drink one with" to "Go to the vote".
The Blue Royals had their own singer who accompanied the show, and the Düsseldorf Originals presented their dance guard in the show "200 Years of Carnival". The minis of the Düsseldorf Originals received much applause during the event, as did the flag twirlers and the children's dance guard, with an average age of six, who performed enthusiastically.
Prince Andreas I and Princess Evelyn with their entourage also attended the gala session. The dance corps Rot-Weiß Bechen and the Blue Royal Dance Corps also participated in the event, making it a truly carnival extravaganza. The gala session at the Barbarasaal was a night to remember, and the KG Düsseldorf-Narrs certainly know how to throw a party!
