Eastfield Kitchen Fire Leads to 18-Year-Old's Injury
In the district of Esslingen, a fire broke out in Ostfildern, causing significant damage and leaving a building uninhabitable. According to police reports, an 18-year-old individual started the fire while cooking.
The fire spread rapidly throughout the room, leading to approximately 100,000 euros worth of damage. The 18-year-old was injured while trying to extinguish the fire and was taken to the hospital due to smoke inhalation. They are currently receiving medical treatment.
Firefighters arrived promptly at the scene to put out the fire. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined by the ongoing investigation, which is being conducted as suspected negligent arson by the police.
