"Ecologists in Action's Youth Summer Program"
Third Edition of Ecolojóvenes Summer School Kicks Off in Zaragoza
Get ready for an exciting week of learning, activism, and outdoor adventures as the third edition of the Ecolojóvenes Summer School commences in Zaragoza, Spain.
The open day of the event will take place in Ruesta, where participants can look forward to a variety of activities aimed at promoting environmental awareness. This includes guided routes through the region's natural spaces, workshops on topics such as legal tools in activism, artivism, non-violent direct action, and degrowth, among others.
Marina Gros Breto, spokesperson for Ecolojóvenes, expressed her enthusiasm for celebrating the third edition in Aragon, stating, "We are thrilled to be back for another year of learning, activism, and community building."
In addition to the educational offerings, the Summer School will also feature recreational activities such as astronomical observation, ecological board games, and a night of live music, performance, and open mic.
However, the event will not just be about fun and learning. The open day will also see a protest action denouncing the social and environmental impacts of the Yesa dam project.
