Economic interest in Yakutia's financial expertise expressed by Ossetia
Yakutia and the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania have taken a significant step towards mutual cooperation, as the Yakut parliament recently signed a cooperation agreement with their counterparts from North Ossetia.
The agreement was signed by the speakers of the parliaments involved, Alexei Eremenko from Yakutia and Taimuraz Tuskaev from North Ossetia-Alania.
According to Tuskaev, the regional investment standard used in Yakutia could be a valuable tool for economic support. He plans to cooperate with Yakutia in the development of non-resource industries and is particularly interested in the creation of advanced development territories in Yakutia.
Tuskaev also expressed his interest in Yakutia's economic experience, noting positive developments in Yakutia's economy, social sphere, and industry. He mentioned that Yakutia has adopted a document on the development of non-resource industries, which he finds relevant for North Ossetia.
In recent years, the government of Yakutia has focused on economic diversification and sustainable resource management initiatives, which were considered interesting by the Parliament of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania.
The agreement aims to promote initiatives of both regions in federal legislation, with both Yakutia and North Ossetia committing to work together as per its terms. Tuskaev, who is currently in Yakutia and participating in the Ысыах Туймаады festival, wished all Yakutia residents peace, happiness, and prosperity.
