Economy of Social Market: Current Cost Analysis
On March 21, the Economic Policy Club Germany (EPCG) recognised Christoph M. Schmidt for his significant contributions to economic policy with the "Keynote Speech on Social Market Economy" prize. The laudation for Schmidt was delivered by Sven Giegold, State Secretary in the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action.
Schmidt, President of the RWI - Leibniz Institute for Economic Research, was honoured for his positive persistence in identifying and drawing public attention to economic policy challenges. His keynote speech at the award ceremony focused on the topic of Social Market Economy.
