In the heart of Düsseldorf, Bolker Street played host to a lively carnival brunch on Sunday, 23.2. The event, attended by the city's elite, including the Düsseldorf city guard with their children's prince and princess, the Narrencollegium, and various other esteemed performers, was a spectacle to remember.

Dennis Vobis, the event's master of ceremonies, led the programme, opening the brunch with Prince Felix and his consort Ida Marit. However, the event was not without its share of drama. A confrontation between Vobis and the consort Evelyn took place, though the nature of their disagreement remains unclear. Vobis later apologized to Evelyn during the event.

Entertainment was provided by a variety of acts. The dance group Blau-Weiß Büderich, the duo Dubb, the Burggrafen couple of the Düsseldorf Nordlichter with the Aquila Dance Team, and the Närrischen Schmetterlinge all took to the stage to entertain the crowd. The Golden Boys Gustav and Sven provided musical interludes, while Paula Becker from Jülich received applause for her enthusiastic jab at "test tube beer" drinkers.

The Narrencollegium, founded in 1952, celebrated carnival with singing, fun, and celebration. They were given the last spot in the parade, which is pushed by Awista. Interestingly, one spot on their float will be empty at Rosenmontag, as Vobis will be hosting the parade from the stage at Corneliusplatz. He will join Christian Zeelen and former consort Ricarda for the event.

Vobis also announced that the TÜV had found fault with most Rosenmontag floats, but the Narrencollegium's float may now receive approval. He also took a moment to inquire about the prince's health before addressing his issues with Evelyn.

Despite the drama, the event was a resounding success, with attendees leaving with smiles on their faces and memories of a lively, entertaining day. However, the mystery of Paula Becker from Jülich, who received applause for her enthusiasm, remains unsolved. Despite extensive searches, no relevant information links her directly to Düsseldorf, and her identity and significance remain a mystery.
