Elderly patrons enjoy a screening of the acclaimed film titled "Wonderful"
On September 3, 2025, the city of Euskirchen, in collaboration with Kino-Center Galleria, is hosting a senior cinema event. The event will feature the film "Wonderful," a thought-provoking drama that explores the personal crises and life questions faced by several characters.
The film, with a duration of 2 hours and 12 minutes, delves into the lives of characters such as Julie, who feels isolated in her new job and has to deal with a harassing colleague. Sonja and Milan, who have separated, struggle to listen to each other during family therapy. Vicky misses her partner who has retreated to the mountains indefinitely, while Nadine experiences a deep crisis when her husband turns to a prostitute. Lilly wonders if she can express what she doesn't want, like her boyfriend Enno, who attends a course on "toxic masculinity" led by Vicky's new colleague Trevor.
The senior cinema event offers screenings at 14:30, 15:00, and 15:30. Tickets can be purchased online or at the cinema box office daily from 16:00. For those who are holders of the Euskirchen Pass, there is a discount available.
Before the film starts, coffee and cake will be served. For any questions or suggestions, please contact the Senior Office of the city of Euskirchen at senioren@our website or phone number 02251/14-222.
