The incident took place on Marschnerstraße, where the car, driven by a 53-year-old man, veered off the road to the left and drove past a median, ending up on the sidewalk. The vehicle then collided with two power distribution boxes and a high-voltage transformer booth, causing additional damage to the power distribution system.
The accident resulted in a power outage, and the man was taken to the hospital with severe injuries. The estimated damage from the accident is approximately 160,000 euros.
