Engineering Learning Hub Debuts at Salinemuseum

In the historic city of Halle (Saale), five grammar schools are joining forces to celebrate a significant milestone. On Thursday, September 4, the Junior Engineer Academy will officially commence, marking a new era in technology-focused education.

The event will take place at the Salinemuseum Halle, Mansfelder Straße 52, with the honourable Mayors for Culture and Education, Dr. Judith Marquardt, and Education and Social Affairs, Katharina Brederlow, in attendance. The director of the Salinemuseum Halle, Ingo Beljan, will welcome the students and guests.

The Junior Engineer Academy, a technology-oriented elective course, is funded by the Deutsche-Telekom-Stiftung. This academy aims to provide students with practical engineering experience and insights into engineering practice. The curriculum is designed based on close cooperation between schools and regional partners from science and business.

The academy's goal is to foster a new generation of engineers, encouraging them to develop innovative solutions that address real-world challenges.
