Enjoyment of cultural attractions and retail shopping
In a presentation held on Thursday, the organisers of the Art Weekend - Ursula Bolck-Jopp, Franz Schneider, and Peter Litvai - unveiled the program for the upcoming event. The meeting was attended by the third mayor Jutta Widmann, representing the mayor Alexander Putz, and the city marketing director Michael Bragulla.
The Art Weekend, set to take place from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon, will see 14 galleries, museums, and exhibition spaces open their doors to visitors. These cultural hubs will offer free admission on Saturday and Sunday from 2pm to 6pm.
The events will not be confined to these cultural spaces alone. A total of 30 stores will also participate in the Late Night Shopping event, allowing visitors to enjoy both art exhibitions and late-night shopping. The Late Night Shopping will take place simultaneously with the exhibition openings.
The first day of the Art Weekend, on Friday, will also mark the traditional Art Night. The exhibition houses will be open late into the evening as part of this event.
The presentation was well-attended, with VIP guides in attendance. These guides will be available to offer insights and enhance the visitor's experience during the Art Weekend.
