The city of Landshut is gearing up for an exciting Art Weekend, with a variety of events planned from the 2nd to the 4th of this month.
The highlight of the weekend will be the exhibition openings, which will take place from 2pm to 6pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Over 30 shops will also participate in a simultaneous Late Night Shopping event, extending the art experience into the evening.
The traditional Kunstnacht will also be a part of the festivities. On Friday, the exhibition houses will open late into the evening, and the traditional Kunstnacht will take place. Interestingly, the Late Night Shopping event will occur simultaneously with the traditional Kunstnacht, offering a unique blend of art and shopping.
The Art Weekend program was presented by a group consisting of Ursula Bolck-Jopp (Kunstverein Landshut), Franz Schneider (Neue Galerie Landshut), Peter Litvai (Litvai Galerie für Fotografie), Jutta Widmann, and Michael Bragulla. Jutta Widmann, as Deputy Mayor, and Michael Bragulla, City Marketing Director, were present at the program presentation, with Mayor Alexander Putz being represented by Jutta Widmann. Thomas Haslinger will represent Mayor Alexander Putz at the presentation of the art weekend on Thursday.
The Art Weekend is organized by a team of dedicated individuals, including Ursula Bolck-Jopp, Franz Schneider, Peter Litvai, and others. The group's hard work is evident in the diverse and engaging program they have put together.
In addition to the exhibitions and shopping events, 14 galleries, museums, and exhibition spaces will open their doors for free admission on Saturday and Sunday from 2pm to 6pm.
