"Epson unveils fresh employee identification technology"

Epson has recently expanded its line of scanners with the release of the WorkForce DS-1730 and DS-1760WN flatbed scanners. These new devices are designed for office and business use across various industries, offering an excellent price-performance ratio and catering to the needs of small and medium-sized businesses without compromising on quality.

Both the Epson WorkForce DS-1730 and DS-1760WN scanners boast professional-quality scan results, with scan resolutions of up to 1200 dpi for the flatbed scanner and 600 dpi via Automatic Document Feeder (ADF). They come equipped with Twain drivers for Windows and Mac, and the professional scan software Document Capture Pro for Windows from Epson.

The WorkForce DS-1760WN stands out with its WLAN and LAN interfaces, allowing users to access the scanner via different methods. It also supports Apple AirPrint, Mopria, and is compatible with the Epson Smart Panel app for iOS and Android. The Epson WorkForce DS-1760WN also features standalone functionality.

On the other hand, the Epson WorkForce DS-1730 shares many of the same features as its larger counterpart, but without the WLAN and LAN interfaces. Both models, however, feature automatic document feeding for duplex scanning and automatic format trimming. They also have a more compact design for easier use in cramped spaces.

Christoph Lubinus, Sales Manager Scanner at Epson Germany, stated that the introduction of the new scanners WorkForce DS-1730 and DS-1760WN aims to offer reliable, innovative flatbed scanner solutions for small and medium-sized businesses. He further emphasised that these scanners offer an excellent price-performance ratio and are tailored to the needs of offices and businesses.

The new devices follow the successful DS-1630 and DS-1660W models. Both the Epson WorkForce DS-1730 and DS-1760WN can capture sensitive documents or non-standard format documents. They also have reduced power consumption compared to their predecessors, resulting in a lower CO2 footprint.

The two new scanners, Epson WorkForce DS-1730 and DS-1760WN, will be available in qualified retail stores in September 2025. For more details and information about other Epson models, please visit this link.
