The Arnsberg Network Dementia is offering an opportunity for relatives of people with dementia to come together and share their experiences in a supportive environment. The next meeting of the "Open Discussion Circle Dementia" will take place on Wednesday, 3rd September, at 6 pm, at the Multigenerational House at Hellefelder Straße 15 in 59821 Arnsberg.

The "Open Discussion Circle Dementia" is part of a broader effort to support and empower relatives of people with dementia in their caregiving roles. Caring for people with dementia can place significant physical and emotional strain on relatives, and often, relatives feel strongly restricted in meeting their own needs, such as employment, maintaining friendships, or hobbies.
The "Open Discussion Circle Dementia" aims to help relatives navigate the challenges of caregiving and find resources to support their well-being. The monthly meetings do not require registration and are open to all relatives of people with dementia, regardless of their location or prior experience with the disease. Participation is free, and the circle welcomes questions from relatives.
Approximately 70% of care-dependent people with dementia live at home with their relatives. The "Open Discussion Circle Dementia" provides a safe space for these relatives to share their experiences, seek advice, and find support. If you are a relative of someone with dementia and would like to join the discussion, we encourage you to attend the next meeting on 3rd September.
