Evening festivities catering to the youth in Euskirchen
On the 27th and 28th of September 2025, the city of Euskirchen is participating in the nightfrequenz25 - Youth Culture Night NRW, offering a variety of engaging activities for young people aged 14 and above. Here's a rundown of the events taking place.
From 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on the 27th, a skate workshop will be held at the new skate park on Georgstraße. Participants are encouraged to bring their own skateboards or borrow one provided, while experienced trainers will demonstrate tricks. Registration is required for this workshop.
At the same time, a "Double Exposure" photography workshop will be taking place at "Simons Glück" in Kapellenstraße 35. Bring your own camera or smartphone for this workshop, and capture unique moments under professional guidance. Registration is also required for this event.
From 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, the Youth Villa program will be in full swing. This includes an interactive escape room, a quiz, archery, boxing, and a concert series featuring young talents from the Euskirchen area performing self-written songs from various music genres.
On the 28th of September, the "Move your Story" dance workshop will take place in the seminar room at Annostraße 31 in Euskirchen-Frauenberg. This workshop focuses on improvisation and choreography using tools from dance art and performance under professional guidance. Registration is required for this workshop as well.
Throughout the Knollenfest in the city center on the 27th and 28th of September, the Tambourcorps Oberwichterich's stand will be available for trying out different instruments from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
All these events are free and organised by the city of Euskirchen in collaboration with the Caritas Association for the Dekanate Euskirchen and the "Kurve kriegen" initiative.
