Evening Gala of Autumn 2025 showcasing a unique blend of music, literature, sand art, and acrobatics
Lippstadt, Germany, is gearing up for an unforgettable cultural event this October. The city is hosting a literary, musical, and artistic gala as part of the 9-day autumn week and the jubilee year of "1250 years of Westphalia".
Organised by KWL Culture and Advertising Lippstadt GmbH, the event promises an evening filled with captivating performances. The gala, taking place on Saturday, October 18th at 7 PM at the City Theater Lippstadt, will feature a live band, poetic sand painting, and a five-piece rock band.
Martin Quiliz, known for hosting GOP Variety events in Lippstadt, will be the host for the evening. The sand art for the event will be created by Ukrainian sand artist Olga Lysytska and will be projected onto a large screen, serving as a backdrop for artistic highlights from Martin Quiliz's "Westphalia worldwide" format.
The Opera Workshop on the Rhine and "Westphalia worldwide" will present favorite texts and songs with local connections to Lippstadt and the autumn week. The sand art will undoubtedly be a visual spectacle, adding an unique and immersive element to the performance.
The sponsor of the cultural project "Westphalia worldwide," is the Westphalia Foundation, and the event is grateful for the support of the Westphalia Initiative for Self-responsibility and Common Good. Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier is the patron of the 2025 jubilee "1250 years of Westphalia".
Tickets for this exciting event can be booked at the Lippstadt Cultural Information Office in the town hall or online via Vibus-Tickets. The ticket prices for the event are 43,- / 48,- / 53,- € for standard tickets, and 22,- / 26,- / 33,- € for reduced tickets.
