On the 21st and 22nd of September, the heart of Hamm in Düsseldorf-Hamm will be transformed into a hub for Bonsai enthusiasts as the International Bonsai School hosts a special anniversary event. This event, taking place on Nikolaus-Faber-Platz, will gather Bonsai teachers from across Germany, showcasing their unique creations made from native tree species.

The International Bonsai School, located at Hammer Dorfstraße 167, is one of the largest schools dedicated to the art of Bonsai. Known for producing Bonsai specimens with a distinctive presence, the school specializes in cultivating and shaping these miniature trees.

The event will be a celebration of both the 625th anniversary of the district and the 35-year history of professional Bonsai activities in the area. The gathering is being organised by the Düsseldorf Bonsai School, which is next to the Bonsai Museum, also located at Hammer Dorfstraße 167.

Visitors can expect a packed schedule, with public panel discussions about Bonsai, as well as the opportunity to explore the special exhibition of Bonsai creations. The event will be open to the public on both days. On Saturday, it will run from 10 am to 6 pm, and on Sunday, from 10 am to 5 pm.

It's worth noting that the International Bonsai School and the Bonsai Museum are not directly involved in this specific event. However, the presence of these esteemed institutions in the same location adds to the event's prestige and appeal.

This event is just one of many Bonsai exhibitions taking place throughout Germany, reflecting the growing interest in this ancient art form. Whether you're a seasoned Bonsai enthusiast or a curious newcomer, this event promises to be a fascinating exploration of the world of Bonsai. So, mark your calendars and get ready to immerse yourself in the beauty and artistry of Bonsai!
