In an exciting development for the automotive industry, Volkswagen has announced that the new FAW-Volkswagen Magotan will launch on July 9 with DJI's intelligent driving solution. This isn't the only news from the German automaker, as they have also revealed plans to introduce the US-Jetta in China.

Leaked renderings of the US-Jetta have already created a buzz, and Volkswagen's Chinese joint ventures, FAW-Volkswagen and SAIC Volkswagen, are expected to present the vehicle at the Shanghai Auto Show in April 2023. The US-Jetta could potentially increase the density of the Volkswagen line in China, or it might result in a replacement for the current Sagitar or a new addition to the Volkswagen line.

The Chinese market, with its crowded Volkswagen line, is a significant market for the company. The Sagitar, sold in China, is based on the European Jetta. Interestingly, the ancient old Jetta is still being made in China.

Volkswagen's Chinese joint venture has also revealed plans to launch two New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) by 2027. The company has applied for a patent in China for the US-Jetta, suggesting a commitment to innovation and adaptation to the Chinese market.

The New FAW-Volkswagen Talagon SUV has already been launched, starting at 36,100 USD. With these developments, it appears that Volkswagen is firmly positioned to make a significant impact in the Chinese automotive market.

Stay tuned for more updates as we approach the Shanghai Auto Show in April, where the US-Jetta is expected to make its Chinese debut.
