Exclusive update on private gatherings for select individuals

In North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), the Coronavirus Protection Ordinance was updated on October 1, 2020, and it's important to know how it affects events in the city of Neuss.

Firstly, it's essential to clarify that the newsletter distributed in Neuss is not a source of Coronavirus-related regulations or updates. Instead, it serves as a way to stay updated on Neuss's developments and cultural events. The newsletter covers various topics such as social developments, culinary arts, art, and culture, making it a non-repetitive source of information about Neuss.

Subscribing to the newsletter is free, and subscription confirmation should be checked in the inbox or spam folder. The newsletter is a valuable resource, offering in-depth information about the city's social developments, culinary arts, art, and culture.

When it comes to events, private parties, such as weddings, birthdays, and graduation parties, held on private property do not need to be registered. However, public parties, including those held in guesthouses, clubhouses, halls, or other public areas, must be reported. Events with fewer than 50 guests do not need to be reported, but if the event has 50 or more guests, it must be reported to the local authority via email at least three working days before the event.

The guest list must be compiled in accordance with § 2a (1) of the NRW Coronavirus Protection Ordinance and updated during the event. The registration must include the date, venue, start time, expected number of guests, and contact details of the responsible person(s).

It's worth noting that the maximum number of guests can be reduced to a maximum of 25 guests if the number of new infections exceeds 50 per 100,000 inhabitants. If the number of new infections rises to 35 per 100,000 inhabitants, the maximum number of guests can be reduced to 50.

Parties for exceptional occasions with up to 150 guests are still permitted in NRW. For events held in Neuss, the local authority responsible for registering parties with more than 50 guests is the city administration of Neuss (Stadtverwaltung Neuss), located at Markt 2, 41460 Neuss. Contact can be made via phone at 02131 90-01.

Lastly, it's important to mention that the newsletter does not send spam. Learning more about the newsletter's privacy policy is possible. As of the current update, the Rhein-Kreis Neuss is not near these infection levels, ensuring that events can proceed as planned, subject to the Coronavirus Protection Ordinance guidelines.
