Expansion Announcement: Expanded Routes for the Movemix Shuttle - Increased Stops in Paulusviertel and Landrain, Boosting Accessibility
In the heart of Halle (Saale), the Stadtwerke Halle group's transportation subsidiary, HAVAG, has announced exciting developments for its movemix_shuttle service.
Starting this September, the movemix_shuttle will be operating a special tour in Paulusviertel, running from the 1st to the 5th, and again from the 8th to the 11th. The service will be available during the daytime, between 9 am and 2:30 pm. However, the exact stops for the late summer tour have yet to be specified.
To help the public understand the movemix_shuttle and its benefits, HAVAG is hosting info days in early September at nine locations across the city. These events will provide an opportunity for individuals to learn more about the service and receive personal advice on its use.
The movemix_shuttle service area now includes four additional stops in the Paulusviertel/Landrain area: Gertraudenfriedhof, Am Wasserturm, Feuerbachstraße, and Karl-von-Ossietzky-Straße.
Regular MDV fares apply for the movemix_shuttle, and the Germany Semester Ticket or ABOs can be used without additional charge. The service can be easily accessed via the movemix_app or by calling (0345) 5 81 - 56 66.
During the late summer tour, the movemix_shuttle will make stops at various locations in Paulusviertel, including Steintor-Brunnen, E-Center Hermes-Areal, Pauluskirche, Herweghstraße/Corner Albert-Schweitzer-Straße, and Penny-Market Dessauer Straße. The tour will also include stops at Netto-Market am Galgenberg and Reileck.
The movemix_shuttle can accommodate up to five people, including wheelchair users and strollers. On September 5, 2025, the movemix_shuttle will have a stop at Gertraudenfriedhof. On September 2, 2025, the movemix_shuttle will stop at Steintor-Brunnen, and on September 8, 2025, it will stop at E-Center Hermes-Areal. On September 4, 2025, the movemix_shuttle will stop at Pauluskirche, and on September 10, 2025, it will stop at Reileck. The movemix_shuttle will also have a new stop at Kurallee on September 1, 2025.
