Expectant Mother Faces Hardship in Politician's District: Pregnant Woman Transported to Hospital on a Handcart

In a shocking incident that has raised concerns about the state of healthcare services in Madhya Pradesh, a pregnant woman named Priyanka was forced to be transported on a handcart through rough village roads to a local hospital in Chhatarpur's Chandla assembly constituency.

The incident occurred on a Saturday, during a time when the state minister, Mohan Yadav, was addressing a gathering in Chhatarpur and announcing the expansion of medical facilities. Despite this, the 108 ambulance service failed to respond when called for Priyanka's emergency.

Upon reaching the hospital, the hospital staff on duty refused to attend to Priyanka immediately upon her arrival and asked the family to return after 8 am. This negligence caused the woman to remain in distress even after reaching the health facility.

The incident has sparked anger among local residents, who allege that despite contributing significantly to revenue, the region lacks basic medical services. The constituency is represented by state minister Dilip Ahirwar.

Citizens are demanding urgent improvements in healthcare facilities to prevent such lapses in the future. However, the Health Minister of Madhya Pradesh responsible for improving health services in the Chandla assembly constituency is not currently identified in the available search results.

Priyanka, a resident of Ward No. 4 in Chandla, is now recovering from the traumatic experience. This incident highlights the poor state of health services in Chhatarpur's Chandla assembly constituency, and calls for immediate action to ensure better healthcare facilities for all residents.
