The State Art Gallery in Madhapur is hosting an intriguing exhibition titled "Deep Interiors - A Return to the (Un)Discovered Self", as part of the gallery Dotwalk, from September 6 to 11. This thought-provoking showcase invites visitors to explore what truly lies in the hearts of people, serving as a reminder that humanity is about feeling, connecting, and sharing in the universality of our experiences.

Curated by Sibdas Sengupta, the exhibition features 34 artists across generations, including FN Souza, Thota Vaikuntam, Chippa Sudhakar, Ananya Singh, Ravi Mehta, Leena Gupta, Arjun Rao, and Mehak Garg, among others.

Mehak Garg, in her works, uses toys as a recurring object to represent a fragmented self, while her use of oil paints and pastel shades creates a mood that accentuates the silence and reflects her feelings of missing her home after moving to a new place.

Artist Sujith SN turns landscapes and faces into sites of resistance, using them to communicate subtle violence, power structures, and layered histories.

The exhibition is divided into four sections: Interfacing Interiors, Containment and Transformation, The Self the Other, and Bodily Embodiment. Each section offers a unique perspective on the conflict of Man vs. Self.

The showcase uses art as a mirror and a map of the self, inviting visitors to delve into the depths of their own emotions and thoughts. The exhibition is free for visitors, making it an accessible opportunity for all to engage with the powerful works on display.

The exhibition is open from 11 am to 5 pm, and further information about the exhibition can be found on the gallery's website. For more updates, visitors can join or follow the gallery's social media channels.
