FC Homburg commences "KICKOFF" procedure on June 22 for initiation
FC 08 Homburg Gears Up for 2025/26 Season
Football Club 08 Homburg is ready to kick off its preparations for the upcoming 2025/26 Regionalliga season. The team will start training on June 22 at the Waldstadion, with the "KICKOFF" event taking place on the same day at 2pm.
The "KICKOFF" event will include the first team training session, followed by a supporting program filled with music, a breakfast event, family activities, and the unveiling of the new jerseys and squad.
Before the summer break, FC 08 Homburg will participate in two friendly matches. On July 2, the team will face TSV Kottern at 6pm, followed by the Allgäu Brauhaus Cup in Kempten on July 5. The opponents in the cup will be either FC Augsburg's U23, FC Kempten, or FC Memmingen.
On July 12, FC 08 Homburg will play a test match against FC Victoria Rosport at 1:30pm in Erbach. The following weekend, another test match is planned, but the opponent is yet to be confirmed.
After the test match against second-division side SV Elversberg on July 27 at 2pm at the Waldstadion, FC 08 Homburg will face Luxembourg's top-flight side F91 Dudelange on June 25 at 7pm.
The team will have a training camp in Austria's Kleinwalsertal from June 30 to July 6, where they will play another test match against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim on July 23, 2025, at 6:30pm. Unfortunately, Hoffenheim won the match 4:0.
Following the training camp, the players will return to individual training plans, as they work towards the Regionalliga season, which is scheduled to begin between August 1 and 3. The first round of the DFB-Pokal for FC 08 Homburg will follow from August 15 to 18.
