Federal authorities recover and return stolen electric bike to its pleased owner, thanks to the intervention of the Federal Police.
In the Walle district of Bremen, last Wednesday, federal police officers made an unexpected discovery - an abandoned KTM E-bike near the railway tracks and close to Central Station.
The E-bike, worth approximately 4800 euros, was later found to be of significance. It had been reported stolen by a 49-year-old man from Bremen, who lived in the old town, following a break-in just days prior.
The owner, who had reported the theft to the Bremen police, retrieved his E-bike at the federal police station at the central station in Bremen. The federal police officers had secured the bike without finding any clues about the owner on the spot.
The seller of the KTM e-bike is believed to be Zweirad-Center Stadler Bremen, the largest bicycle and e-bike dealer in Bremen, located in Hafenstraße 1, 28217 Bremen. The buyer of the abandoned E-bike was tracked down by federal police officers on Saturday morning.
