Federal authorities seek testimony from witnesses following an assault on a 16-year-old by another passenger aboard an ICE facility.

On August 30, around 15:20, an incident of bodily harm occurred on ICE 373, carriage 5, while traveling towards Fulda. According to the Federal Police Inspectorate Kassel, a 16-year-old passenger was allegedly assaulted by a 30-year-old man without provocation.

The criminal case for the incident has been opened, and the identity and current location of the suspect are not publicly disclosed at this time. The alleged reason for the attack was suspicion that the teenager was filming the man with a smartphone.

The 16-year-old did not sustain serious injuries and did not require medical attention. The train staff was informed about the incident by the 16-year-old's companion, and upon the train's arrival in Fulda, a patrol from the Federal Police Station Fulda took over the case.
