The All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) is set to return to Lagos, Nigeria from November 25 to November 30, 2025. This grand event, which will be broadcast to more than 84 countries, is a testament to music's power as a unifying force and Nigeria's commitment to boosting tourism nationwide.

AFRIMA 2025 promises an exciting programme, including the Africa Music Business Summit, the Music Village Concert, the Nominees Party, and the main awards ceremony. The event, edited by Folasade Adeniran, is a strategic tool for boosting Africa's presence in the global creative economy and a vital part of Nigeria's creative future.

Hannatu Musawa, the Minister of Art, Culture and Creative Industry, emphasised the importance of AFRIMA in shaping perceptions, fostering unity, and unlocking economic opportunities across borders. She made this statement at an event organised by AFRIMA.

The Federal Government is committed to supporting AFRIMA and collaborating with stakeholders to strengthen Nigeria's musical and cultural industry. Various cultural organisations, government agencies related to arts and culture, private sector partners, and potentially international cultural and development partners are collaborating to make AFRIMA 2025 a success.

AFRIMA's mission extends beyond recognising musical talent. According to Mike Dada, President of AFRIMA, the organisation aims to tell Africa's authentic story on the world stage. Musawa believes the future of Nigeria lies in the creative sector and has pledged the Federal Government's full backing for initiatives that promote arts, culture, and entertainment.

The Federal Government is also committed to strengthening Nigeria's tourism sector. Collaboration across all fronts is key to these efforts. The event was attended by many celebrities across all sectors in the country, further highlighting the importance placed on this event.

Since its inception, AFRIMA has consistently worked to promote African music, culture, and identity on the global stage. AFRIMA 2025 promises to continue this tradition, creating platforms where African voices are amplified globally. This event is not just a celebration of music but a significant step towards a more unified, culturally rich, and economically prosperous Africa.

In addition to this news, recent publications have covered general news, economy/business, health, and culture. These articles, however, do not provide new facts relevant to AFRIMA 2025.
