A 28-year-old Serbian national was arrested at Hamburg airport on Tuesday, according to the Federal Police Inspectorate Airport Hamburg. The man is wanted internationally by Serbia since the beginning of 2025 and is suspected of a serious crime.
The crime for which the man was wanted occurred in January 2019. He is accused of severely injuring a person with wooden clubs and kicks to the head, resulting in the victim's death in the hospital. The charges against the traveler include formation of criminal associations and attempted murder.
