Female fatally gunned down in South Loop following dispute, police confirm in Chicago
A developing story is unfolding in Chicago's South Loop, as a 31-year-old woman was shot and killed on Monday morning. The shooting occurred outside in the 2200-block of South State Street, just after 9:05 a.m.
According to the latest updates provided by ABC7 Chicago, the woman was involved in a physical altercation with a known female suspect. During the altercation, the suspect pulled out a gun and shot the woman in the face. The woman was immediately taken to Stroger Hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
