Medusa Rising Festival 2025 Set to Light Up Mönchengladbach

Get ready for an unforgettable weekend as the Medusa Rising Festival 2025 takes over Mönchengladbach, near Cologne, on September 26 and 27. This groundbreaking event is a network and platform for FLINTA individuals in the event and creative industries, independent of patriarchal structures and mindsets.

The festival is a non-profit project, with all proceeds supporting the artists and covering the crew's expenses. Tickets can be purchased at tickets.infield.live/event/medusa-rising-festival-rows6y. Festival tickets cost €34, with day tickets available for €18.

On Friday, the main stage will feature an eclectic mix of music genres, including Noise, Indie, DIY Riot Grrrl Punk, Electro Punk, Drag, and Deutschrap. Acts such as Epilog from Leipzig, Thunder Bae from Düsseldorf, Lisa Uebel from Leipzig, Artemis Jade, Eli Dayo, Consensual Peggy from Amsterdam, and Kitty & the Cat are set to perform.

Meanwhile, the small stage will offer a diverse lineup, with avant-garde electronic sounds, Art Pop, Indie Rock, and more. Workshops will take place at the neighbourhood café "Köntges".

On Saturday, the main stage will focus on Hip Hop in various facets, with performers such as Leya, Unreleased Berlin, Lena Stoehrfaktor from Berlin, Skuff Barby from Cologne, Changeline from France, and Sarah4k from Berlin. DJ Reen and the Cologne DJ collective "Electrosuppe" will keep the party going until dawn. Saturday's lineup also includes Abenasua & SINAA and artist Güldeste from Cologne, SIBB from Bremen, the S3xworkers of Cologne, the Queer Lap Dance Kollektiv, and more.

The small stage will offer Neo-soul, RnB, a powerful one-woman show, and performances for awareness.

The Medusa Rising Festival 2025 is funded by the Initiative Musik and the Mönchengladbach Cultural Bureau. This event promises to be a celebration of diversity, creativity, and empowerment, and we can't wait to see you there!
