Film giant Paramount apparently eyeing movie adaptations of hit video game series Call of Duty
In a significant move for the gaming industry, Paramount Pictures is set to adapt the popular video game franchise, Call of Duty, into a potential blockbuster movie series. The announcement comes following Paramount's deal with Microsoft-owned Activision, signed in September 2025.

Interestingly, plans for a Call of Duty cinematic universe were reportedly put on hold by 2020. Ellison has expressed a desire to make Street Fighter the first theatrical film made from Paramount's new deal with Legendary Pictures. However, as of now, no talent is currently attached to the Call of Duty project.
