Final and Comprehensive iPhone 17 Launch Timetable: The Imminent Countdown Revealed
Apple has announced that its much-anticipated Special Event will take place on Tuesday, September 9, at 10 a.m. Pacific, at the Steve Jobs Theater. The event is expected to reveal the latest additions to Apple's product lineup and confirm their on-sale dates and prices.
During the keynote, Apple is likely to unveil the new iPhone models. While the details of the iPhone 18 have not been disclosed, the iPhone 17 Air is rumoured to feature an unexpected design change and a price suggested by a Forbes article.
After the keynote, pre-orders for the new iPhones are expected to open, although the exact timing has yet to be confirmed. Customers can expect to get their hands on the new devices on Friday, September 19, although the exact release time is still undecided.
In addition to the iPhone, Apple Watch reviews will be published on the day opposite the day of the first iPhone reviews, either Tuesday, September 17 or Wednesday, September 18. Initial reviews of the new iPhones will also be published on either of these days, with the specific timing yet to be confirmed.
The final beta of the iPhone software, Apple iOS 26 Beta Release Candidate, is expected to be released on Tuesday, September 9, around 12 p.m. Pacific. However, this is subject to confirmation at the keynote.

Looking further ahead, Apple is reportedly working on the iPhone 18, which is expected to launch in fall 2026.
