Final tests underway for 2012 Focus ST model
The automobile manufacturer Ford is gearing up for the launch of its latest performance-oriented vehicle, the 2012 Ford Focus ST. This model, a track-focused version of the 2011 Focus, is currently being tested globally before its anticipated launch in early 2012.
Ford has a fleet of 60 pre-production 2012 Focus STs being tested around the world. The cars are being tested with black sperm-like camouflage, an unusual sight that leaves the reason for it unclear.
Under the hood, the 2012 Focus ST's 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine will deliver 250 horsepower, a 10% increase compared to the previous model. This upgrade promises not only more power but also improved fuel efficiency. The 2012 Focus ST is expected to consume 20% less fuel and produce 20% less CO2 compared to its predecessor.
The 2012 Focus ST was revealed at the Paris Motor Show in 2010, and since then, it has been under development and production at the Ford plant in Saarlouis, Germany.

While the details about the 2013 Focus RS are not yet available, if the 2012 Focus ST lives up to expectations, it's likely that the 2013 Focus RS could be even better. However, it's worth noting that the current generation Focus range does not include a Focus RS.
