ESAF Small Finance Bank Chooses SugarCRM to Manage Customer Relations and Digital Banking Services for More Than 9 Million Indian Clients

Financial institution, ESAF Small Finance Bank, chooses SugarCRM to manage customer relationships and digital banking for more than 9 million Indian consumers.

In a significant move towards modernising its operations, ESAF Small Finance Bank (ESAF SFB) has announced SugarCRM as its key technology partner for its digital transformation. This decision is expected to revolutionise the bank's customer service, making it faster, more consistent, and more personalised.

SugarCRM, a San Francisco Bay Area-based company backed by Accel-KKR, will serve as the unified customer experience engine for ESAF Bank. The software is designed to help sales teams in complex, relationship-driven industries such as manufacturing, wholesale, and distribution to accelerate growth and make smarter decisions.

With SugarCRM, ESAF Bank aims to bring together data from various systems, making it easier to resolve issues quickly, tailor service to each customer, and stay compliant with regulations. The software will support real-time engagement, deep personalisation, and seamless service across all touchpoints for ESAF Bank.

SugarCRM will integrate with over 15 internal systems, including core banking, loan origination, digital onboarding, contact center, and marketing tools. This integration will help ESAF Bank manage customer inquiries and leads more effectively, resulting in faster and more consistent customer responses.

To ensure compliance with Reserve Bank of India (RBI) data security regulations, Sugar will be hosted locally at ESAF Bank's data centers in India.

ESAF Bank's Chief Executive Officer, speaking about the partnership, stated, "We are excited to partner with SugarCRM. This partnership will enable us to modernise our core systems, enhance service delivery, ensure compliance, and move towards fully digital, data-driven operations."
