Fire Department successfully extricates four felines from blazing flat.
The Arnsberg Fire Department responded to a kitchen fire on the second floor of a multi-family house on Ringstraße at 08:19 this morning. A total of 23 emergency personnel, including the main station, the rescue station, and the police, were present at the scene.
The fire, which originated in a kitchen, did not spread beyond the second floor, thanks to the swift actions of the emergency responders. The blaze was brought under control, and the operation concluded at 09:00.
Fortunately, the residents of the affected apartment and the rest of the building managed to escape in time. Four cats were also successfully rescued from the burning apartment. No further injuries were reported.
The exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and the investigation is ongoing. The apartment is no longer habitable due to fire damage.
