Fire Station Bocholt expansion: Large-scale firefighting workshop in increased activity

The Bocholt Fire Department successfully contained a fire that broke out in a company located within the Bocholt industrial estate early on Tuesday morning.

At 03:58, the fire department was alerted by the automatic fire alarm system of the affected company. Upon arrival, firefighters found the initial hall complex fully ablaze.

The fire department was engaged with 6 fire engines, two turntable ladders, and a total of 50 personnel. The fire was fought comprehensively with two turntable ladders, each with a monitor, a B-pipe, and 5 C-pipes.

Despite the intensity of the fire, the fire department managed to contain the blaze within the initial hall complex. Through extensive firefighting efforts, the spread of the fire to the adjacent hall section was also prevented.

Thankfully, no injuries were reported during the firefighting efforts. The cause of the fire remains unknown at this time.
