In the early hours of August 26th, a series of fire incidents occurred in the towns of Horrem and Hackenbroich, Dormagen. The Dormagen Fire Department, along with several other local fire brigades, responded to these emergencies, working tirelessly throughout the night to ensure the safety of the community.

The first incident occurred at around 11:30 PM on Am Stellwerk street in Horrem, where a car fire was swiftly extinguished by the Dormagen Fire Department. Just a short while later, at 11:48 PM, another vehicle fire broke out on Zonser street in Horrem. Both fires were brought under control by the collaborative efforts of the Dormagen Fire Department and the Mitte fire brigade.

As the night progressed, at 12:36 AM on August 27th, the fire brigades were called to a fire involving several trolleys and containers on the outer facade of a business building in Hackenbroich. The fire was quickly extinguished, preventing it from spreading to the business premises and the apartment above.

Throughout these incidents, approximately 30 firefighters were deployed to handle the fires. Despite the intensity of the emergencies, no one was injured during the fires in Horrem and Hackenbroich.

The Dormagen Fire Department also checked an apartment on the upper floor during the fire in Hackenbroich to ensure the safety of its occupants. By around 1:40 AM, the fire department completed their final measures and stood down the watch.
