In a series of incidents between 10:00 PM on Monday and 2:40 AM on Tuesday, perpetrators targeted a total of 19 trailers on the Autobahn, according to the Jena Police Headquarters. The investigation is ongoing, with the case number being 24621/2025.

The perpetrators are reported to have slashed the tarpaulins of most trailers and removed cargo. In one case, they are said to have forced open a container. The exact nature of the stolen goods remains to be determined.
At 2:30 AM on Tuesday, a truck driver alerted the Autobahn Police to a theft from his trailer. The property damage is estimated to be in the mid-four-digit range.
