Philippine Airlines (PAL) has announced an expansion of its domestic services from Clark International Airport (CRK), set to commence on October 26, 2025. The airline will increase its flight services to the tourist destinations of Basco and Busuanga (Coron) to a twice-daily frequency.

Rabbi Vincent Ang, PAL's President, expressed his excitement about the increased flights, stating that they would provide more flight choices for residents of Central and Northern Luzon, as well as leisure travellers. He also mentioned that the enhanced services would further boost the accessibility of the modern facilities at Clark International Airport and PAL's distinct brand of Filipino heartfelt service.

The aircraft utilized for flights out of Clark by PAL is the 86-seater De Havilland Dash 8-400 Next Generation. This expansion comes after PAL's impressive On-Time Performance of 86.07 percent last April 2025, making it the most punctual airline in the region, according to a report by Cirium.

Basco, known for its picturesque rolling hills and rock formations, will benefit from the increased services. The town is a popular tourist destination, especially for those seeking adventure. On the other hand, Busuanga serves as PAL's gateway to Coron, a tourist destination renowned for its world-class diving spots.

PAL's commitment to supporting the tourism growth of Siargao Island remains strong. The surfing capital of the Philippines, known for its breathtaking scenery, pristine beaches, and popularity among adventure seekers, will continue to see daily Clark-Siargao flights.

The increased frequencies in Clark International Airport are expected to improve connectivity, boost local tourism, and ease congestion at Manila's main airport. This expansion further solidifies PAL's position as one of the Best Travel Brands in Southeast Asia, having ranked second in the region and among the Top 10 Best Asia Pacific Airlines last April 2025.
